Mapping COVID-19 Vaccination Across the US

Michelle Chiu prepared and delivered the R-Ladies Philly July workshop, which provided a hands-on introduction on how to display data onto relevant geographic locations using R.

All of Michelle’s materials are available in the GitHub repo for the workshop. Michelle got us started with an introduction that included review of key packages, such as ggplot2 and cloroplethr. Michelle then provided a demo of how to put these tools together in mapping COVID-19 Vaccination data. We wrapped up with a data visualization exercise in breakout rooms.
